Secret Love–Ashley Alexander
Recorded forty years ago in November of 1981, this is from a great album called Ashley Alexander played Frank Mantooth. The musicians in the band were mostly ex-students of Ashley’s. Unfortunately, Ashley passed away in 1988 at the age of 52 from heart issues. He was one of the few who could play a double trombone (or superbone), which was a combination of a slide and a valve trombone.
