The LPs in this room showcase a few of the musicians whose bands toured and performed at educational institutions and concert auditoriums. This period is approximately from 1945 – 1989 when either the leaders of the bands passed away or their LPs were no longer produced. The musicians were chosen because they offered significant musical contributions to jazz.
